• Topic Preferences — The categories and topics you select to customize content
• Voice Preferences — Your selected audio host voices (Daily Brief AI) or cloned family voices (Echoes)

2.2 Voice Recordings (Echoes)

If you use Echoes, voice recordings submitted by you or your invited family members are used solely to create a voice clone for use within your private family library. See Section 5 for full details on how voice data is handled.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information — Device type, operating system, and app version
• Usage Data — Features used, content accessed, session duration
• Log Data — IP address, access times, crash reports

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
• Personalize your experience and content recommendations
• Process transactions and manage your account
• Send you service-related communications (not marketing, unless you opt in)

5. Voice Data & AI

For users of Echoes, voice data is handled with the highest level of care:

• Voice recordings are used exclusively to generate a private voice clone for your family's use within Echoes
• Your family's voice data is never shared, sold, or licensed to any third party
• Voice recordings are never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's
• Voice clones are stored privately and are only accessible by members of your family group within the app
• You may request deletion of any voice clone and associated recordings at any time

We use ElevenLabs as our AI voice technology provider. Their processing of voice data is subject to their own privacy policy and our data processing agreement with them.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, an industry-standard cloud database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability — Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format
• Opt-Out — Opt out of marketing communications at any time

8. Children's Privacy

For users between 13 and 18, parental or guardian consent is required to use our Services.
